Pastor Janice Johnson is a seasoned servant of God who has dedicated over four decades to pursuing His will and calling in her life. With a rich tapestry of experiences spanning across continents and cultures, Pastor Janice’s journey has been one of unwavering faith, lifelong learning, and passionate ministry.
A graduate of Oral Roberts University, where she obtained a Masters in Theology and Counseling, and the Harvard School of Education, where she earned a Certification in Academic Leadership, Pastor Janice brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and academic rigor to her ministry. Her travels have taken her to 14 diverse countries, where she has served as a missionary, seminary professor, international speaker, and a fivefold ministry gift to both local and international churches.
One of Pastor Janice’s distinguishing traits is her special ability to empower and support marketplace ministry gifts. She champions the idea of viewing work as a sacred calling, encouraging believers to be shining lights in the marketplace, embodying love, grace, and compassion in all their interactions. Drawing from her experiences at esteemed organizations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Points of Light in Atlanta, Georgia, she advocates for a broader Kingdom perspective that sees every believer as a minister, whether in the church or the marketplace.
Inspired by supernatural encounters and nurtured under the mentorship of Apostolic figures such as Oral Roberts, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Apostle Turnel Joshua Nelson, and Bishop David Huskins, Pastor Janice answered a divine call to establish the Upper Room Panama Church in 2022. This Kingdom Community Church, nestled in Coronado, Panama, serves as a global gateway for nations and a spiritual hub for reconnecting with God as our First Love and experiencing His life-giving Spirit in daily life and service.
As a dynamic communicator, Pastor Janice possesses a gift for bringing profound revelation and biblical truths to light. Her ministry is dedicated to nurturing and equipping New Creation Man for his work of the Ministry of Christ until we all come to the full measure of the stature of Christ.
